Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA), Rwanda, a non-governmental organisation working for the needy, has donated 10 bales of clothes containing 3500 pieces to Rwandan returnees from Tanzania camped in Nyagatare District.

Handing over the donation, the country director of ADRA-Rwanda, Daniel dos Santos said the organisation is concerned with the poor conditions of the returnees and will do all it can to support them in various ways.

Santos, who was also launching the three year project called the Rwanda Integrated Education Project (RIREP) at Hotel Blue Sky in Nyagatare town, said: "ADRA is here to help the vulnerable and poor people and we are extending our assistance to the Rwandans who have just returned from Tanzania."

He added that what brought ADRA is to aid the local community to benefit from opportunities like adult education which will enable the poor people to realize their rights. The district director of education, Sylvester Mutabaruka, who received the donations on behalf of Nyagatare authorities hailed ADRA for the support extended to Rwandans especially the needy returnees in camps.
